Faraoland Nile Wild Cheops (“Cheops” 1992-2005), started our interest for basenji, and in order to honour his memory we named our kennel KING KHUFU
In February 1993 we brought home our first small basenji puppie, Cheops a black & white male, from Helena Strömbert kennel Faraoland. When the first chock disappeared, could one not other than love him ” the small black devil ” as some of our friends and family called him.
Later our family has been increased with the following members.
Alexander our oldest son born September 1995, and soon he was followed by his sister Emily in May 1998.
Our second basenji the brindle male Sing came to us in November 2002 from France and kennel Out OF Africa, Sing has been very successful in the exhibition's rings.
Later if we continue chronologically, our second son and youngest child Oliwer was born in May 2002
